Day 3

After our fully cooked breakfast at our Motel, we will be travelling to Wellington today and our first stop will be for morning tea which is supplied before a guided tour at 10.00am of The Cathedral Cave which takes approximately 1 hour. One hundred and fifty steps are involved so if you feel it may be too much you can opt for the 1 hour Phosphate Guided Mine Tour instead which is also wheelchair friendly. Then we will cross the road for a look at the Japanese Gardens, The Wellington Information Centre and The Bottle House. Then it's lunchtime at the Kiosk where you can enjoy a sandwich with cake or scones including a tea or coffee which is included in your Tour price. On return to Dubbo, we will visit Dubbo's new state-of-the-art Cultural Centre which houses both the City's Art Gallery and its Museum.

Day 2

After our fully cooked breakfast at 'The Blue Lagoon Motel', we will visit The Dubbo Visitors Information Centre. At the Centre we will join up with a guide to enjoy and informative City Tour of Dubbo. Following you will have some free time to have a look at the shops and maybe some lunch (at own expense) before we journey to The Taronga Western Plains Zoo for the afternoon. Like a wild and wonderful slice of Africa you will see big game roaming across wide open spaces. With 1000 animals and over 300 hectares of bushland, it's more than a zoo experience, it's an African Safari. On return, we will travel back to our Motel where our two course dinner will be served at 6.30pm. You may choose to have a swim in the Motel's pool or go with Paul down the local Club for a game of Keno or a few drinks before retiring for the night.

Day 4

Once again after our fully cooked breakfast we will visit the Old Dubbo Goat to see animatronic inmates, authentic displays and artefacts. Gain insight into an 1800's penal institution during our tour. You will meet, hear and see the Condemned Man, the Ghost of Old Dubbo Gaol, the Executioner and the Gallows. Then we will be starting our return trip, stopping along the way for meal breaks (at own expense) and comfort stops. Hoping you have enjoyed the experience maybe made some new found friends and have memories to savour of our time in Dubbo.
